Your data, in plain English

Quashed is a service of GrafterUK Ltd · Last updated 11 July 2026

We keep this short and honest. Quashed exists to appeal private parking tickets on your behalf, and we only collect what we need to do that.

What we collect

When you submit the form, we collect your name, email address and mobile number, the details of your ticket (the date, the issuer if you know it, and any photo you send), and whether the vehicle is personal or a company/fleet vehicle. If you tell us it's a company vehicle, we also collect the rough size of the fleet.

Why we collect it

To assess and run your parking appeal, to contact you about it, and to keep track of your deadlines. That's it. We don't build advertising profiles and we don't sell your data.

Our lawful basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent — the box you tick when you submit the form, agreeing that we can handle the appeal on your behalf and contact you about it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

Only who we need to, to appeal your ticket: the parking operator and, where relevant, the independent appeals body (such as POPLA or the IAS) handling your case. We don't share your details with anyone else for marketing.

How we store it

When you submit the form, your submission is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure (our website and email provider) so your enquiry is never lost — even if there's a temporary technical problem delivering it to us. Access is restricted to us, and it's encrypted in transit and at rest.

Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company that processes data on our behalf. Any transfer of your data to the United States is protected by Cloudflare's certification under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with the standard contractual safeguards in Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum as a fallback.

How long we keep it

Stored form submissions are deleted once your enquiry has been handled, and are automatically deleted after 90 days at most. Beyond that, we keep your information for as long as needed to run your appeal and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw consent. To do any of these, just email enquiries@quashed.co.uk.
