Questions, answered honestly

Do you handle tickets in Scotland or Northern Ireland?
Not yet. The law that makes our strongest arguments work — the keeper-liability rules in the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 — only covers England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have a genuinely different regime, and the independent appeals service won't take a keeper appeal there. We'd rather tell you that than take your ticket and lose it on law that was never going to apply.
Do you handle council tickets too?
No — we handle private operator PCNs (ParkingEye, Euro Car Parks, Smart Parking and the like). Council PCNs follow a different legal process that we don't cover in v1. If you're not sure which you've got, send it over and we'll tell you.
Does appealing pause the deadline?
Appealing to the operator normally pauses the clock on the discounted rate while they consider it. We'll tell you which deadlines apply to your ticket — that's why we ask for the date on it.
What does "free" actually mean?
Your first ticket is genuinely appealed free — no catch, no card details. This founding offer is limited to our first 20 drivers while we get going.
What if you can't win my ticket?
We only take on tickets we think we can get cancelled. If yours isn't one we can win, we'll tell you honestly and there's nothing to pay — we won't run a hopeless appeal just to look busy. You've lost nothing by asking.
What happens if we lose?
On the free ticket, nothing — there's nothing to pay whatever the outcome. For fleets, pricing is a flat fee per ticket we handle, win or lose. We'll never pretend an appeal is certain; some tickets are stronger than others and we'll tell you straight.
Who is behind this?
Quashed is a service of GrafterUK Ltd, a UK-registered company (Co. No. 17303977). We built it because the system quietly profits from people not fighting tickets they could win.

Start your free appeal

Takes two minutes. We assess your ticket for free and only take it on if we think we can win it — if not, we'll tell you straight, no charge.

Add all of these you have — each one unlocks a different argument:
• the ticket / parking charge notice
• the letter that arrived in the post (the "Notice to Keeper") — front and back
• the signs at the car park, if you can get back to photograph them
The postcode helps us check which legal rules apply.
The day of the parking itself — not the day the letter arrived.
Leave blank if you haven't had one. This one matters a lot — operators must post it within a strict deadline, and they often miss it.
Different rules apply to the registered keeper than to the driver, so this changes what we can argue.
Don't include health details or anything sensitive unless it's genuinely relevant to the ticket.
